Teaching Philosophy

 I believe ...

teaching writing is ultimately about giving people the space and the permission to be creative

everybody has a story to tell and to do so is empowering and self-validating

the true goal of a teacher is to teach students how to learn

the best teachers are active in their own practice and always open to learning
